Did ChatGPT just break the advertising industry?
With the latest update, ChatGPT can now generate hyper-realistic Facebook ads in any style—and the wild part is, it requires barely any effort.

Once I had my reference ad, I uploaded both the screenshot and a high-quality image of my product (a candle) into ChatGPT (make sure you're using the "4o" model) using the new image input feature. Then I gave it a clear and specific prompt.
Prompt: "Generate image: I want a Facebook ad like the one I gave you but use the testimonial 'This is the best candle I've ever bought...' —Jane Doe. Make the logo Yankee Candle Company. I want someone's hand holding the candle in the ad. Make it clean, modern, minimalistic. Don't change the product or put anything on it."
Pro Tip: Change this prompt to best suit your brand.
And boom—within seconds, ChatGPT generated a clean ad image that matched the reference style, used my testimonial, and looked ready to post.
Now the first result was good… but not perfect. So I gave ChatGPT a follow-up instruction to refine the layout:
"Make the logo smaller. There also needs to be more white space between the review and the candle."
ChatGPT processed my request and spit out a second version that addressed both design concerns... no design skills needed.
This is where things get crazy.
