Just watched my video and got tricked by one (or all) of the images?
Don’t worry — you’re not alone. AI image generation has gotten shockingly realistic… and in this post, I’m going to show you exactly how those images were made — and how you can make your own.
All of the AI-generated images from the video were created using a tool called MidJourney — one of the most powerful (and popular) AI image generators out there right now.
If you’ve ever wanted to create images that look like real photographs — but are completely fake — this tutorial will show you how.
MidJourney is an AI tool that turns text into images. You just describe what you want to see, and it creates it for you — often with stunning, photo-realistic results.
To create images, you’ll need a MidJourney subscription. Plans start at $10/month (as of this writing) and give you access to fast image generation directly from the browser.
Here’s the secret sauce: if you want your AI images to look like actual photographs, you need to describe them like a photographer would.
Use details like:
portrait of an elderly woman with deep wrinkles, shot on Canon EOS R5, 85mm lens, soft natural window light, shallow depth of field, warm tones, sitting in an old farmhouse kitchen --style raw --ar 3:2 --v 6
Want to make changes? Just tweak the prompt and regenerate. You can also “remix” images or upscale them for more detail.
If you were surprised at how real those AI images looked in my video… now you know how they were made.
Try it for yourself and tag me with your best image. I’d love to see what you come up with!
